The drawing card for visitors to the Crowsnest Pass is definitely the great outdoors with its spectacular mountain scenery, abundant wildlife, and small town atmosphere.

Fishing

The Crowsnest River which runs through the Crowsnest Pass is a favorite destination for anglers from all over North America. Fishing the other tributaries and lakes in the area also attract fishermen year round. Snowmobiling

The Pass has become an award-winning snowmobile destination with over 1200 km. of marked trails within the Bow Crow Forest Reserve alone. There’s something for everyone – from the novice to the extreme rider. Contact the local snowmobile club Crow Snow Riders for more information.

ATVing

The breath taking scenery and great trail system has put the Pass on the map for ATVing. The local ATV club, CNP Quad Squad, has installed bridges, mapped the trail systems, etc. – developing what is now a top notch riding area. Two of the favorite rides are to the Airplane Crash and the North Kootenay Pass.

 

Golfing

For the golf enthusiast, the challenging 18 hole Blairmore Golf Course is only a 5 minute drive and less than half an hour away is the Pincher Creek and Sparwood golf courses.

 

Spelunking

The highest concentration of caves in the Rockies lies within a 4 km. radius of Crowsnest Pass – the most well known caves are Gargantua, Cleft and Yorkshire Pot – the second longest and deepest in Canada.
